The Macro Vickers 5114 is a macro indentation hardness tester that measures the hardness of materials by indenting a diamond indenter into the surface of the material, applying a known load (1kgf to 50kgf) in eight increments.

This device is designed for a variety of applications, including quality control, research and development, and failure analysis. The Macro Vickers 5114 is equipped with a motorized turret providing two objectives (10x and 20x) and one Vickers indenter.

The tester comes complete with a comprehensive instruction manual, dust cover and accessory kit containing: a 2.½″ (64mm) diameter flat anvil, 1.6″ (40mm) diameter V groove anvil, certified test block, fuse and tools. The device can be used to measure hardness values and display them in Vickers, and as converted hardness values in other scales such as Rockwell. The device can also be used for data output from Serial and Centronics Ports.
